  • Unregistered User - We source publicly available data across websites encompassing employment history, educational background, skills, and other pertinent information to construct composite profiles. These profiles are made accessible to potential employers for employment-related considerations.

  • We also collect information that You submit when using the website while using any service available on the website, Information provided by You while participating in activities, which may include activity postings, survey responses, assessment responses, training, interviews, and any other data You generate, and Information You submit while using support services including any associated third party support services.

  • Users may voluntarily provide us with information they have made available on social media websites. If You provide us with any such information, we may collect publicly available information from the social media websites you have indicated which can control how much of your information available social media websites make public by visiting these websites and changing their (Users) privacy settings.

We source your publicly available data across websites encompassing employment history, educational background, skills, and other pertinent information to construct composite profiles. These profiles are made accessible to potential employers for employment-related considerations.

Users opting for assessment services , Company’s engaged third party service provider /business partners may collect and retain candidate's name, email id, phone number, public profile information, educational qualifications, college details, employment history, job application details and any other information that is relevant to have a record of their candidature, while taking a job or for providing skill assessment services. Third parties/vendors can also collect and retain candidate's data in form of clicked selected responses to questions, voice, images, written text and/or video, as a part of their assessment process. This information is collected as a part of a candidate's assessment for job or skill evaluation and may or may not necessarily result in users employment.

To the fullest extent permissible under applicable law, Company makes no warranty or guarantee, express or implied, relating to the services or Client’s use of the services, or any data or information obtained via the services or provided under this agreement and/or accuracy thereof, including but not limited to any implied warranties of merchantability, satisfactory quality, non-infringement, and/or fitness for a particular purpose.

Company does not have any obligation to monitor the information included in the Product and it is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, applicability, or legality of any information, data, or domain does not represent or warrant that the information provided under the Product shall be error-free or that any errors will be corrected. Company shall not be liable for any damages or loss incurred to the Client, or any other third party as a result or in connection with the use of the Product or in connection with use of or reliance on any information derived from the Product. The company will retain your information for as long as necessary for providing the services available on the platform, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, or till your request to terminate your account, whichever is later.

Post termination of your account or withdrawn on consent or opt-out to use certain information/ data, the company continue to use your anonymized data aggregated or in combination with anonymized data of other users. We use this aggregated anonymized data for data analysis, profiling, and research purposes, for example to gain insights about our users and their profiles.

Some Employers may store their resume databases on the Company servers. In such a case, the Company serves as a data processor for personal information received in this way. Therefore, if candidate intends to access, review, or correct their individual personal information, then they shall be required to contact the said Employer (potential or existing) with any such requests. The Company will cooperate as appropriate with requests from such Employers to assist with such responses.

11. Access and Updating Account Information

Accessing and updating of information is limited to registered users when the user accesses the platform, the Company makes good faith efforts to provide the User, as and when requested by the User, with access to his/her PII and user shall further ensure that any PII or sensitive personal data or information found to be inaccurate or deficient shall be corrected or amended as feasible, subject to any requirement for such PII or sensitive personal data or information to be retained by law or for legitimate business purposes.

Upon registration, all Candidates are asked to create a personal Profile by providing certain personal information and selecting one of the visibility settings - ‘standard’, or ‘hidden’ - as described below. For unregistered user, foundit has created a standard profile basis the publicly available data across platforms.

a. Jobseeker/Candidate can modify/add/delete the profile information

b. Jobseeker /Candidate will have the access to search for job advertisement and apply for the job postings using foundit account.

The unregistered profile can have following employer actions:

1. Profile can be searched by employers utilising candidate Search service of foundit

2. Employer can view profile including contact details (if available)

3. Employer can contact you using any method such as email, call.

4. Candidate has the option to OPT-OUT from foundit platform by sending an email at compliance@foundit.in

Hide profile from searches

The jobseeker/candidate will have the provision to make profile hidden from all recruiter searches. Having said that, users can apply to the jobs and in such cases, the application/resume will be processed for employers to consume.

Make profile confidential

The jobseeker/candidate can switch the profile to confidential mode under visibility settings. This ensures that your contact information (email, phone, name) is masked in the searches. Employer can only reach out through email campaign using foundit interface (email id is although hidden on the user interface/ front end)

Temporary Deactivation of profile

The jobseeker/candidate will have the option under account setting to deactivate the account temporarily, which will remove profile from employer searches and also restricts the ability to apply to jobs.

Permanent deactivation of registered/unregistered user

As stated in "Withdrawal of Consent (Unsubscribe/Optout)" the registered /unregistered user can write to us at compliance@foundit.ai for permanent deletion of the account

13. Posting Your Information to Public Areas of the Platform

Any information, including but not limited to PII, posted in the public areas of the platform, such as in online forums, public profiles, chat rooms, or in the searchable resume database, may be viewed, collected and used by others.

We give you the option of putting your resume in our database. You may control the status of your resume by setting it to private or public. You can store your resume in our database, but not allow it to be searchable by potential employers or recruiters. Not allowing your resume to be searchable means that you can use it to apply for a job online, but employers and recruiters will not have access to search it through our resume database product.

If you set your resume as private, it is not searchable by potential employers or other with access to our resume database. You may still use your resume to apply online to a job with a Private resume.. If you do apply online to a job, your resume will be transferred to the relevant employer, who may retain a copy of your resume.

If you set your resume as public, but want your contact information to be confidential, your resume will be searchable by potential employers, but we will hide your contact information and current company. You must also remove your contact information from your uploaded or copy and paste text resume. You should be aware that if you have a rare skill or job title, for example, it may still be possible for you to be identified even without your contact details being included. If you are worried about being identified, you should not include specific details by which you could be identified. If you use a confidential resume to apply to a job online, the employer to whom you send your resume will be able to view your contact information in order to contact you about your application.

If you allow your resume to be searchable without making it confidential, then all parties with access to our searchable resume database (or copies thereof) will have access to your resume. Employers or other parties with access to our searchable resume database may be located in countries whose data protection legislation may not be equivalent to the laws in your country. For example, your resume may be viewed and accessed by employers outside the European Economic Area who have access to our searchable database. By making your resume searchable, you are expressly consenting to such transfers of data.

We attempt to limit access to our searchable resume database to legitimate users such as paying employers, recruiters, hiring managers, headhunters and human resource professionals, as well as law enforcement and national security agencies, but cannot guarantee that other parties will not gain access to this database. We cannot control the use made of resumes by third parties who access such resumes while they are in our searchable database. You may remove your resume from our searchable database at any time; details of how to do this are given below. However, employers, recruiters and others who have paid for access to that database, as well as parties who have otherwise gained access to the database may have retained a copy of your resume in their own files or databases. We will take reasonable steps to ensure that parties other than those mentioned above will not, without our consent, gain access to this database. These Hosted Databases may contain personal information about individuals, including Jobseekers Such data may include contact details, work history, educational history, work preferences, and other data, depending on the particular Jobseeker and application at issue, and, in some instances, may include PII. Company provides hosting space to the Employers who own these Databases and utilize our applications on such data, and Company therefore conduct its activities strictly in accordance with the Employer instructions and pursuant to Company’s contractual arrangements with them. Such Employers act as data controllers with respect to all such Hosted Databases. The data in such databases, including any such data submitted to our applications, is subject to the Employer’s privacy policies. If You are a Jobseeker with one of such Employer, You should refer to the Employer’s Terms of Use/ Privacy page on their career site to understand the terms and privacy practices that apply to Your data. Moreover, if You would like to access and review Your Personal Information, You should contact the Employer with any such requests. We will cooperate as appropriate with requests from the Employer to assist with such responses. Registered Users / Candidates Candidates who register their information with us via our Platforms to obtain or receive access to our products and/or services.
Unregistered Users/ Candidates / composite profiles Candidates whose publicly available data is sourced across websites encompassing employment history, educational background, skills, and other pertinent information to construct composite profiles.
Employer An individual or an entity (including employers and recruiters) that posts job requirements on our Platforms or uses other products or services to source potential Candidates for job vacancies.
