Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
- Responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing the solution in the area of SCM Planning and Manufacturing.
- Review and understand the user stories requirement, Translate business / user story requirement to technical requirement and solution proposal.
- Develop an understanding on the existing RICEF objects which are part of Template solution with Global and Local differentiation.
- Work closely with Solution Architect, Solution Specialist, Business Transformation expert to understand the business / functional requirement and provide a sustainable solution without impacting existing Global Template solutions.
- Identify and resolve performance issues in existing development objects and optimize programs for maximum efficiency and scalability through Refactoring.
- Work closely with the central SAP Solution Architects and Product Owners by supporting overall SCM strategy, Roadmap and Business Delivery.
- Participate in MT software development governance activities, including design, code reviews, testing, and post-deployment processes.
- Follow SAFE (Scaled Agile Framework) process and effectively participate and contribute in Agile team events such as daily, Sprint Refinement, Sprint Planning, Sprint Demo, Sprint Retro and present the ideas to improve the team working efficiency.
- Be involved and support in Monthly Service Pack Deployments and different projects and initiatives.
- Bachelor degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain or related field
- At least 3 years of working experience as an ABAP Developer in business transformation programs in SCM Planning and Manufacturing. Additional experience in SCM Logistics, Sourcing and Quality is an added advantage.
- Proven and solid development background in SAP Planning and Manufacturing with Expertise in ABAP programming language, including experience with object-oriented programming, BAPIs, RFCs, and SAP function modules.
- Experience on SAP ECC to S/4 HANA Transition would be an added advantage.
- Self-driven and communicative team player with a result-oriented and positive attitude
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and global environment (cultural awareness)
- Experience with SAFe methodology and / or SCRUM is a plus
- Very good skills in English and Chinese (written and spoken). Knowledge of other languages is a plus
