We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Actuarial Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting financial analysis, supporting IFRS 17 implementation, and assisting with business plans and regulatory reporting. Responsibilities:
Monthly Closing and Financial Reporting: Conduct monthly closing and prepare regular financial reports.
IFRS 17 Project Support: Assist with product review, data integration, and automation of retention studies and analysis.
Business Planning: Collaborate with Finance to prepare business plan documents for regulatory submissions.
Regulatory Reporting: Support the preparation of AA/FV/EV reports and other required regulatory reports.
Reinsurance Support: Handle reinsurance-related tasks for monthly closing and settlements.
Ad Hoc Projects: Participate in ad hoc projects to support marketing channel needs.
Qualifications:
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a life insurance company; valuation experience is preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming, such as VBA, and familiarity with Prophet is an advantage.
Actuarial Analysis and Communication: Strong skills in actuarial analysis and effective communication.
Valuation/Reporting: Proven experience in actuarial valuation or reporting.
Education: Bachelor's degree or higher; ASA or above is preferred. Candidates below ASA level will be considered if they possess strong technical and valuation experience.
