Applications are invited for appointment as Administrative Assistant Iin the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 530336), to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.
Applicants must hold a good university degree and possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in event management, marketing, communications or public relations within a public or quasi-public organisation. Candidates should demonstrate outstanding interpersonal, organisational, and problem-solving abilities, along with the capability to deliver high-quality results in a dynamic environment. A proven track record in one or more of the following areas is required: event management, alumni relations, corporate communications, or cross-functional team management. Familiarity with the latest trends and best practices in online and offline marketing, as well as customer-relationship management, is preferred.
Serving asakey member of the Knowledge Exchange & Faculty Advancement Team, the appointeewill be responsible for the faculty's large-scale events, CRM system and alumni relations, including but not limited tocorporate and public communications to enable cross-team efficiency. He/She should also maintain and provide oversight forthe Faculty's alumni relations strategic planning, manage, improve and create engaging alumni communications and eventsand perform any other duties and projects as assigned. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview and written test.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary.
