Our Silicon Design & Verification business is all about building high-performance silicon chips
the world's leading provider of solutions for designing and verifying advanced silicon chips. And we design the next-generation processes and models needed to manufacture those chips. We enable our customers to optimize chips for power, cost, and performance eliminating months off their project schedules.
Application Engineer
We're looking for Application Engineer to join our team.

Key Qualifications
- Experience in programming software for operating systems, utilizing machine assembly and/or job control languages, and some knowledge of software capabilities
- Experience on development of complex software projects
- Strong background in data structures and algorithms
- Strong desires to learn and explore new technologies
- Good analysis and problem-solving skills
- Prior knowledge and experience of CAD tool development are required
- Typically requires a minimum of 2+ years of related experience
- Solid understanding of specialization area plus working knowledge of one other related area
- Familiar to script language, e.g. perl, python, tcl
Preferred Experience
- Responsible for developing, applying, and maintaining quality standards for ICV
- Develops and executes software test plans
- Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures
- Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software
- Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action
