The Opportunity:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Area Manager who will oversee the activities for the Taiwanese market for our brand SISLEY. He/she will be part of our Retail team based in Taipei, Taiwan.

In this role, you are required to ensure the achievement of sales targets and KPIs across Direct Operated Stores channels in Taiwan, in line with company's commercial strategy, effectively coordinating and supporting the local Store managers and Retail team.

Your key activities are:

-Retail Operations and Performance Management:

  • Maintain updated sales forecasts and implement measures to meet or exceed targets.
  • Develop and execute action plans aligned with company strategies and profit expectations.
  • Optimize the retail network according to distribution strategies and identity.
  • Monitor competition and anticipate market trends.

-Retail Excellence: coordinate in-store staff KPIs and selling practices according to corporate policies.

-Collaboration:

  • Work with the Retail Buying Local team to provide product line input and support global product initiatives.
  • Partner with Go-to-Market and VM teams to execute the commercial calendar (campaigns, promotions, windows, POP, VM, social media, Digital Marketing) in line with brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the E-business team to implement and manage omnichannel activities and services.

-Manage global and local promotions to drive inventory rotation.

-Team Development: grow, develop, and manage the retail sales staff.

-Omnichannel Strategy: ensure store performance aligns with omnichannel KPIs and encourage activity across the network.

The profile:

  • Degree in Economics, or related field.
  • 3+ years of extensive experience in retail sales management, preferably within the fashion, beauty or lifestyle industry.
  • Good command of spoken and written English.
  • Proficiency with IT and sales performance management tools
  • Knowledge of visual merchandising best practices
