Job Description

• Design and develop NLP models using deep learning techniques to analyze large datasets of research papers and patents.
• Utilize embedding models to extract meaningful information from text data and categorize papers into relevant industry segments.
• Stay current on the latest advancements in NLP research by actively following conferences, workshops, and publications.
• Analyze and summarize key findings from NLP models to identify emerging technological trends.
• Collaborate with researchers and industry experts to ensure accurate categorization and interpretation of results.
• Utilize prompt engineering techniques to generate comprehensive industry descriptions, assist in judging the industry of each paper, and curate internal datasets for benchmarking new NLP algorithms.
• Continuously improve and refine NLP models for optimal performance.
• Document and present findings in a clear and concise manner.

Skills Required

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field.
• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and deploying NLP models using deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Strong understanding of NLP techniques, including text preprocessing, word embeddings, and various NLP tasks like topic modeling and text summarization.
• Demonstrated ability to stay abreast of the latest advancements in NLP research.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Programming proficiency in Python and familiarity with NLP libraries. (e.g., spaCy, NLTK, HuggingFace Transformers)

Bonus Skills

• Experience with information retrieval systems and patent analysis.
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).

Salary

• The starting salary range is 65-80k NTD per month, with actual salary adjusted based on your experience and abilities.
• As one of the first 10 members of the early team, in addition to a fixed salary, you will also receive company share as an important part of your compensation.
