Assistant Accounting Manager

Your new role

The successful candidate will work in Group Finance to provide professional accounting services to the consumer business sector. S/he will be responsible for business performance analysis, financial forecast and planning, as well as month-end closing. S/he will work closely with the team to perform business case review to support business growth and will stay close to the development of the responsible business unit. S/he will also perform business case review to facilitate resources prioritization.

The opportunity will suit seasoned professional accountant who enjoys teamwork and people interactions in a conductive work environment and seeks to be part of a listed premier telecommunication group.

To succeed this role

• Bachelor degree holder in accounting, finance or a related discipline with full qualification in professional accounting body (HKICPA or equivalent).
• Minimum six years of relevant experience in both audit and commercial field. Candidate with previous training in Big-4 is preferred. Prior working experience in sizeable corporations is a plus.
• Self-motivated, independent, detail-oriented, proactive and good time management in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• A team-player with good business acumen and strong analytical, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Prior experience in Oracle accounting systems is an advantage.
