This is a fixed-term contract position of minimum 2 years with possibility for renewal subject to organisation need and individual performance.
Responsibilities:
- Identify design and construction issues and liaise with relevant parties to provide effective engineering solutions
- Assist to supervise contractors on the design submission, materials delivery, site installation and provide engineering advice during implementation of works
- Conduct regular monitoring and evaluate quality and progress of the works
- Ensure detailed design, technical requirements, materials and workmanship complies with statutory requirements and required quality standards
- Coordinate with maintenance and operation teams to facilitate the project implementation on electrical, mechanical and control systems
- Liaise with internal and external parties to ensure the works are conducted in safe and efficient manner with minimal impact to daily airport operations and completed on time
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services Engineering with at least 3 years relevant working experience in design, contract management and implementation
- Solid experience in airport works and/or sizable airport facilities under a live operating environment is an advantage
- Team player with good interpersonal, communication, negotiation and organizing skills
- Self-motivated, proactive and result-oriented
- Possess a valid HK driving license (class 1, 2) is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage
