This is a fixed-term contract position of minimum 2 years with possibility for renewal subject to organization need and individual performance.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in providing advice on technical and quality issues on engineering works of Baggage Handling System (BHS)
- Identify design and construction issues and liaise with maintenance and operation teams to provide effective solutions
- Review and comment on contractors submissions on method statement, site management plan and programme, etc.
- Assist in management of works and coordinate with maintenance and operation teams to ensure timely delivery and completion of works
- Coordinate with internal and external parties to ensure the works are conducted in safe and efficient manner with minimal impact on daily airport operations
- Ensure new engineering works are in compliance with the latest design codes and practices, the Authority's requirements and relevant statutory requirements
- Perform shift duties including overnight shift if required
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services Engineering or other related disciplines with at least 3 years working experience maintenance of large scale system facilities
- Good interpersonal, communication and coordination skills
- Result-oriented and able to work independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Possess a valid HK driving license (class 1, 2) is preferred
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.Knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage
