Lead data extract-transform-load (ETL) projects to inject data into corporate data lakes by working with data owners, technical teams and vendors to define business and data requirements, profile data, conduct user acceptance test (UAT), configure the Enterprise Analytics Platform (EAP), compile data dictionary, and complete documentation
Design and implement data schema, structure and models based on the needs of business and analytics teams
Work with various IT teams to manage and configure cloud platform, visualisation tool & ETL tool and their suppliers
Implement data governance policies by approving requests
Work with various IT teams and data owners to maintain data quality
Review, implement and design standards for SQL, ETL processes, data dictionary & catalogue
Support data culture and innovation training, workshops and activities
Requirements:
Bachelor degree holder in any disciplines, preferably related to data, IT, aviation or other relevant disciplines
Minimum 6 years of experiences in ETL, data modelling and cloud platforms, with at least 3 years in driving ETL projects and managing vendors
Relevant certifications in data engineering or cloud platforms (e.g., Azure or Google Cloud) would be a strong advantage (e.g., Google Associate Data Engineer, Google Professional Cloud Architect, Databricks Certified Data Engineer)
Experiences in using SQL to cleanse, prepare and transform data with optimised performance
Experience with ETL processes, DataOps, MLOps, and database design.
Familiarity with data visualization tools, particularly Tableau (e.g., Tableau Server Certified Associate).
Experience with Databricks for data management and processing is a plus
Solid experience in Tableau Server or Tableau Cloud is an advantage
Solid experience in DataOps or MLOps is a strong advantage
Solid experience in data culture promotion is an advantage
