Job Description

Job Summary

The position plays a key role in enabling the procurement function to be a best-in-class function, capable of delivering value in an efficient and effective manner, bringing the best from outside-in.

Job Responsibilities

Financial

Responsibility and accountability on annual contracts covering commodity, packaging & services.

Deliver year on year cost productivity for the market.

Develop category sourcing strategy for key materials to drive cost savings, value creation, quality and legal compliance and innovation.

Establish robust BCP for all material to ensure supply assurance.

Support the adoption of Coupa.

Develop and execute clear supplier relationship management strategy.

Collaborate with multi-functional teams (Marketing, Product Development, QA, Finance etc) to deliver business priorities.

Ensure compliance to global procurement policy.

Non-Financial

The spend is spread over broad material & services categories including 1 factory and sourcing from regional and local suppliers.

Key member of Cluster Asia and Taiwan Procurement team, support cross cross-market collaboration.

Support Cluster Asia Procurement transformation of Suntory SBFI procurement into a value-added business partner at Global and Regional level.

Execute SBFI Procurement Policy and Global COE frameworks.

Leads the Category Management process for Taiwan in full collaboration with COE and Global and CA Procurement Leads. Implementation of Global sourcing strategies.

Ensure execution and delivery of goals as One Song Sheet.

Deliver financial targets, based on TCO analysis & cost optimization/value in

Skills And Experience

Relevant Experience:

Procurement Leadership / Strategic Sourcing (End to End over various roles) minimum 5 years in multinational environment

Functional / Technical Skills

  • Functional knowledge in different aspects of Procurement such as sourcing, category management processes and tools, project management
  • Commercial negotiation
  • Supplier and Stakeholder relationship management
  • Risk management
  • Good communication skills with fluency in English and Mandarin
