Assistant Technical Manager

Assistant Technical Manager in the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 530150) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Master's degree or above in Science or related disciplines, with at least 3 years of research experience. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, in addition to excellent communication, organizational and laboratory skills. Experience in flow cytometry and knowledge of safety procedures and standards for cell culture is a plus.

The appointee will:

• manage laboratory safety, training, and facilities
• maintain equipment and related administrative duties
• coordinate equipment and consumables procurement
• oversee appointments and onboarding for staff, students, and interns
• support financial, grant applications and research activities
• be responsible for import and export of biological material for research activities
• provide support to the Director and Principal Investigators when necessary
• handle other time-sensitive and administrative tasks as required
