Job Description

Job Summary

General

  • Contribute to lead the team to implement efficiency and simplification
  • Manage team and coach team to complete BAU in an accuracy with timely manner
  • Manage team's training to complete in a timely manger
  • Escalate any issue to line manager in time
  • Coach and provide guidance to team members
  • Support department lead to achieve budget
  • To complete trust license register and trust training to meet local regulation requirements
  • To keep in contact with counterparties if necessary while performing daily work
  • Provide clear and effective supportive supervision and coaching, convey and practice values culture of the Bank
  • Take ownership and ensure lessons are learned within the function, review and improve process/control efficiency, automation and project implementation
  • People management to reduce attrition rate, enhance staff business/technical knowledge and develop talents and successors
  • Account Administration
  • To complete below responsibilities and ensure objectives of each team members delivered in an accurate and timely manger:
  • Perform daily client cash & position reconciliation
  • Process monthly billing
  • Verify daily custody fee collection
  • Vetify daily PSGL and resolve breaks
  • Generate regulatory reports
  • Tax reclaim
  • Vault control
  • SLA review and implementation
  • Support audit confirmation from tax guarantor
  • Manage both internal and external counterpart queries to be replied within agreed timeline

  • To simplify daily manual process.

Business

  • Support daily business to provide client solutions.

Processes

  • Ensure BAU is accurate and timely completed. Focus on simplification and efficiency to reduce manual work.

People & Talent

  • Co-work with team members and share knowledge with each other.

Risk Management

  • Ensure follow DOI to prevent risks and escalate any potential issues to discuss with manager.

Governance

  • Escalate any issues to manager and department head.

Regulatory & Business Conduct

  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group's Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
  • Lead to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank's Conduct Principles
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Qualification

  • Trust license register and training are required to meet local regulation requirements.
