Moody's Commercial Group establishes, maintains and manages the business and pricing relationships with Moody's rated entities and issuers of debt securities and intermediaries in the capital markets. The department interfaces with issuers of fixed income securities and other capital markets participants such as corporations, mutual funds, municipal governments, public institutions, originators and managers of structured finance products, and intermediaries in the capital markets. The group articulates the value of Moody's ratings in the execution of transactions, is responsible for the development and launch of innovative ratings based products, communicates pricing strategy, and negotiates all commercial contractual terms with issuers.
The Role / Responsibilities:
- Acting as an integral role in the relationship management efforts for existing clients and prospects in Northern China.
- Planning and execution of relationship management programs.
- Managing client enquiries and engagement related matters.
- Liaising with various internal departments (including analytical team, legal team, and other supporting functions).
- Liaising with KYC team for all Chinese clients KYC/AML related matters.
- Assisting in the preparation of presentations for clients, coordinating client and intermediary meetings, drafting post meeting records and follow up requests.
- Assisting RM in drafting procurement document and work with internal parties to win the business.
- Managing and updating internal systems and other relationship management tools. Handling sales operations, including coordination with global middle office, billing and collection teams.
- Working as part of the regional team spanning the entire spectrum of Moody's business activities.
- Conducting research and analysis on company information, transaction specific information, capital market news, industry research, data searching and analysis.
Qualifications:
- University graduate required. Fluent in English and Mandarin.
- 2 to 3 years relevant business experience in the financial markets is an advantage.
- Self-motived, fast learner, and be proactive.
- Good team player and having aspiration for high achievement.
- Strong computer skills (including excel and PowerPoint).
- Strong research skills (including Bloomberg and Wind)
- Flexible, resourceful with problem solving skills.
- Attention to details and be able to work under pressure.
- Engaging and be able to connect with clients.
- Being articulate with excellent oral and written communication skills. Be able to take multi-task and to prioritize multiple projects. Culturally sensitive.
