Job Description
Turner & Townsend Asia has seen significant growth over the past 5 years and has ambitious plans to continue growing and achieving outcomes for our clients. We are seeking an experienced bid and business development professional who is experienced managing pre-bid positioning activities in addition to end-to-end bid management and delivery (up to multi-million-dollar contracts).
Key responsibilities include:
- Analyse, coordinate, write and develop EOI/PQQ/RFT/RFP response's incorporating the requirements of client specifications, within strict timescales
- Facilitate pursuit planning and bid kick off meetings including win theme development, and capturing bid feedback/lessons learnt.
- Work with bid team to help develop and communicate localized win themes, strategies and creative approaches. Ensure key requirements is captured within the bid.
- Contribute to bid pipeline visibility by engaging sectors teams/regional teams to understand pipeline, whilst maintaining bid logs.
- Provide structured and proactive support to Directors and teams to prepare for future bids by equipping client teams to position, demonstrate value and understand future opportunities.
- Project manage and incorporate input from bid partners, directors, technical experts and wider team as necessary, to ensure a consistent and coherent final bid against scoring criteria
- Engage with the various support functions of the bid process from technical, IT, finance and HR.
- Assist in the writing of executive summaries, key methodologies, CVs and project case studies
- Quality assure and provide peer review function of another writer's work. Ensure bid is submitted for review for internal quality assurance and governance processes
- Review and amend draft bid considering feedback from Peers, Directors and Bid Manager.
- Following submission of bid, extract key information from tender and manage information in-line with information management processes and following internal feedback analysis processes
- Provide best practice training on best practice bid process, structure and quality
- Support the preparation of other deliverables related to the opportunity such as interview presentations and follow-up requests.
- Support Business Development with any other activity as required
Qualifications
- Relevant degree in Business, Marketing, English or engineering. Association of Proposal Management Professional accreditation advantageous
- 7 years experience of bid management and writing successful bid submissions
- Proof reading skills with a keen eye for accuracy and detail, including ensuring responses adhere to word/page limits
- Organizational skills, with the ability to priorities and meet deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality
- Communicate confidently and effectively, verbally and in writing and ability to foster credible collaborative relationships
- Team player who is willing to adapt to changing priorities of the business
- Contribute openly to the team with innovations and ideas to ensure the success and development of the company
