Job description:
- Responsible for enabling OEM/ODM customers with platform BIOS, reference code and related documentation for Intel silicon products such as next generation chipsets and processors.
- Responsible for authoring BIOS specifications, releasing chipset reference code and supporting platform BIOS for Intel's CPU and chipsets.
- Work closely with Intel silicon design teams and OEM/ODM customers and be responsible for all BIOS related issues during the planning, development, and validation stages of the program
- Identification and fixing of platform design related issues including structured debugging and root cause analysis.
Qualifications
Job Qualifications:
- Great knowledge of PC architecture, PCIe and ACPI specifications
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant work experience on BIOS and/or UEFI with Intel x86 Architecture Workstation system
- English and Mandarin, writing, reading and listening should be business fluent
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within a multicultural and global team based in multiple worldwide locations
- Good performer to achieve/manage top outcomes within best time and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiar with Windows OS and WinDbg environment
- Familiar with Python programming
- Knowledge of Intel technologies, ECC memory, overclocking.
- Advanced proficiency in reading and understanding specifications, data sheets and other technical documents.
- Advanced ability to write and analyze requirements, functional specifications, design specifications, tech plans and documentation.

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
