Scope Description
As a key member of the Synera Renewable Energy team, your role will encompass the following:
- Grievance- be the point of contact to take internal grievance and make periodic report to the Board; Manage external law firms who takes grievances from internal and external parties.
- Policy development- develop, implement, and update internal policies and procedures, e.g. ABC policy, code of conduct for business partners.
- Audits- collaborate with HSE department to conduct audits against suppliers. Issue non-conformity reports and ensure that suppliers have corrected the non-conformity within timeframe.
- Regulatory- ensure SRE's corporate policies and templates are in compliance with laws and up-to-date, e.g. employee handbook, standard employment contracts.
- Governance- ensure all corporate filings are timely made for the group companies; conduct periodic audit to ensure that the Company and the projects under its development strictly follows the delegation of authority (DOA).
- Training- conduct training sessions for employees on policies, regulatory updates, and ethical business practices.
- Filings- prepare and submit periodic reports and filings upon shareholders request, e.g. FSR reports.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with regulatory changes and continuously improve compliance processes.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Licensed to practice law in Taiwan or other jurisdiction.
- 7+ years of experience, a combination of law firm experiences and in-house experiences in compliance management would be preferrable.
- Experience and knowledge in the energy and renewable sector would be a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin and English.
- Good research, presentation and communication skills.
