Your Responsibilities
- Lead building the deployment of plant Continuous Improvement (CI) strategy and activities, aligned with the Knauf Group direction
- Develop and implement a CI roadmap that supports and guides the plant team into LEAN thinking and a CI mindset, as well as and applying Lean/Continuous methodology best practices, techniques, and global standards for problem solving and performance improvements
- Facilitate CI Workshops at the plant level
- Identify improvement potentials and their implrementation with the on-site teams using lean methods and cross-functional activities
- Perform plant CI assessments and lead completion of action plants to improve performance
- Support CAPEX projects by following throught with plant team
- Suppout/lead on selected CI projects for office-based teams at the plant, e.g. order fulfilment/planning etc.
- Take active participation on Divisional CI Committee meetings and activities
- Demonstrate constructive leadership
YOUR PROFILE
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, Master's degree preferred, in business, engineering, techinical, supply chain or related
- Deep technical expertise and profound knowledge in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement as well as Six Sigma
- Progressive working-experience in leading process improvement projects in a production environment. Experience from leading CI industry/companies appreciated.
- Exceptional communication, coaching and workshop skills
- Team player, who naturally builds strong relationships
- Analytical thinker with problem solving skills and a structured way of thinking
- Fluent in English
- Positive proactive approach to work
- Leadership skills inspiring teams at all levels to implement continuous improvement culture
