The Customer Development Manager is responsible for identifying, acquiring, and managing new customers to support the company's growth and market expansion goals. This role focuses on identifying and engaging prospective customers within target markets, ensuring they are aware of and engaged with the company's offerings. The Customer Development Manager will collaborate closely with design and technical support teams to deliver comprehensive design validation and international delivery solutions.
Job Description
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers aligned with company strategy.
- Reach out to, qualify, and follow up with leads, ensuring each prospective customer aligns with company values and business models.
- Build trust and deliver high-value services to convert prospects into customers.
- Manage initial orders with new customers, ensuring a seamless handover to the Customer Growth Account Management team.
- Stay updated on packaging industry trends and customer requirements, providing regular feedback to the team to support product and service alignment.
- Participate in the development of new outreach strategies, helping to refine sales and development processes.
- Meet or exceed targets for new customer acquisition, including lead contact rates, conversion rates, and initial order volumes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields
- Minimum of 3 years in B2B development or sales, particularly in the packaging industry
- Fluent in both English and Chinese
- Strong knowledge of packaging requirements and industry dynamics
- Exceptional market research and communication abilities, with strategic thinking skills

This position can be based in Taoyuan or Remote Option Bay Area, USA, SEA
