We are seeking a Manual Data Labeler who can speak both Traditional Chinese (Taiwanese) and Korean language to join our client's search and recovery team. This role involves supporting the upgrade of our current search mechanism, transitioning from a deterministic model to machine learning (ML)-based search capabilities. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of query searches by validating and labeling data, collaborating with linguists, and helping scale our search functionality to the Taiwanese market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Labeling & Validation: Accurately label and validate query searches based on the products to improve search results. Collaborate with internal linguists in Korea to enhance search functionalities.
- Understanding Market Nuances: Leverage your knowledge of the South Korean and/or Taiwanese markets to understand hidden client needs and apply this understanding to query validation and data labeling.
- Multilingual Dataset Development: Contribute to the creation of a multilingual dataset by labeling data in Korean and Traditional Chinese (Taiwanese).
- Support Search Mechanism Upgrade: Work closely with the internal team to support the transition from a deterministic search model to an ML-based search mechanism, ensuring data integrity.
- Collaboration with Teams: Work alongside teams in Korea and help scale the search functionality to the Taiwanese market.
- Remote Work: Operate remotely with flexible working hours.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in speaking Korean and Traditional Chinese (Taiwanese) language.
- Experience in data labeling and basic knowledge of terms like query, product, and label.
- Familiarity with query validation processes and working with multilingual datasets.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately label data based on search results.
- Ability to understand and adapt to market-specific client needs.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience working with search engines, query searches, or search optimization (SEO) or any keyword related work.
- Collaboration with linguists or experience in language data processing.
