Database Specialist

Your Role

• Manage HKT cloud and video surveillance infrastructure,including virtual machines, storage solutions, and database components.
• Develop and implement automation processes to simplify and streamline the management of cloud-based infrastructure.
• Vendors and project management to verify deliverables from vendor align with requirements.
• Implement preventive security measure and ensure compliance with organizational security policies.

To Succeed in the Role

• Degree or above in IT, E-commerce, Engineering, Science or Business disciplines.
• Self-motivated, strong analytical reasoning, good communication skill and problem solving skills
• Working experience in virtualization/Docker/Cloud (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM, or K8s)
• Knowledge of Server and Virtualization solution, Storage System (NAS, SAN) & Database skills(MSSQL,MySQL) is preferred
• Knowledge in IP-based video recording is a definiteadvantage
• Knowledge in MS windows, Linux, backup solution and basic networking/ cyber security concept will be an advantage
• Certificate holder of Microsoft, Linux, virtualization, any cloud or Database management certificate like VCP / VCAP / MCSE / RHCE is a plus
