Douyin - Data Analysis - Basic Business The analysis department is responsible for the data analysis of Douyin's core business directions (main architecture, mid-video, entertainment, hot spots, comments, etc.). We are committed to discovering and solving business problems through data. Discovering problems means being able to build a complete indicator system and measurement system for the business based on a deep understanding of the business and business goals, combined with professional quantitative capabilities, and being able to monitor whether the business is approaching the goal in a healthy and continuous manner through the indicator system being able to discover the bottlenecks and misunderstandings that the business may currently fall into through changes in indicators being able to help the business find value and extract effective intermediate indicators from it being able to judge the effectiveness of business means through scientific and rigorous measurement methods. Solving problems means being able to understand the user's motivation from the user's behavior and find a good way to undertake it being able to unravel the questionable phenomena in the business and discover the essence behind the phenomena being able to scientifically and rigorously demonstrate assumptions and guesses being able to conduct in-depth research on complex business problems and provide possible solutions. 1. Responsible for the data analysis of Douyin business, the work content will involve multiple business modules such as content, growth, monetization, author ecology, etc. 2. Analyze the factors that affect business improvement and growth, various business details, and gain insights into business status and problems in combination with business goals 3. Responsible for the design and analysis of various A/B experiments in business, product optimization effect evaluation, operation strategy or market activity analysis and evaluation, indicator system, measurement system construction, core indicator change analysis, etc. 4. Carry out special analysis around business goals, describe the business status, gain insights into problems and opportunities, and provide specific solutions and promote the effective implementation of product strategies.
Qualifications
1. Priority is given to those with majors in mathematics, statistics, and computer science 2. Priority is given to those with experience in data analysis in the video industry, front-line product or operational business optimization 3. Clear logic, sensitivity to data, able to discover the connection between business details and data, and promote optimization through data indicators 4. Good team cooperation and communication skills 5. Proficient in SQL, proficient in using R/Python for data analysis and mining, and mastering BI tools such as Tableau is preferred 6. Interested in the content industry, and those with in-depth thinking or analysis experience in content, growth, commercialization, etc. are preferred.
