The East Rochester School District is recruiting for a K-12 ENL educator who is a lifelong learner and demonstrates a commitment to an inclusive student-centered approach to learning. The 24-25 School Year assignment is predominately at the secondary level. This is a full-time, tenure-track position.
- Prepare and teach dynamic ENL stand-alone and integrated ENL lessons/units in accordance with NYS curriculum and standards
- Support English Language Learners, Multilanguage Learners, and Students with Interrupted Formal Education
- Foster engagement with the families of ELLs, MLLs, and SIFE
- Administer and score the NYSITELL, NYSESLAT, Multilingual Literacy SIFE Screener
- Maintain and enhance collaboration with team members and department members
- Utilize technology to maximize instruction and learning
- Promote Social-Emotional Learning
