JOB DESCRIPTION

About the role

You will work with our local partners to manage and oversee all aspects of the esports activities for our competitive game in China. In this role, you will handle key relationships with local partners, coordinate activities, and act as the primary contact between internal teams and headquarters.

What you will do

  • Collaborate with partners to develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for esports activities in China, including tournaments, leagues, and promotional events.
  • Assist our partners and ensure they have sufficient support to organize and manage esports events, tournaments, and promotional activities.
  • Build strong relationships with the game community, players, and fans to increase engagement and support.
  • Identify and secure sponsorship opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations to support the esports team.
  • Work closely with marketing and content teams to create engaging content for social media and other platforms.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and the competitive landscape to adjust strategies as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

What you will need

  • 3+ years of proven experience in esports management or a related role in the gaming industry.
  • Deep knowledge of the Chinese esports industry and its trends, including popular games, player dynamics, and community engagement.
  • Strong background in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • Results-oriented and focused on both internal and external customer needs.
  • Fluency in English with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Proficiency in data analysis to assess performance and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to understand and address challenges in esports production and marketing.
