Applicants should possess a recognized Bachelor's degree, along with at least 5 years of full-time work experience in administration, preferably within tertiary institutions. Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) is essential. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, exhibit problem-solving abilities, and demonstrate computer literacy. The ability to work under pressure, both independently and as part of a team, is crucial. Other important attributes include the ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, meet tight deadlines, and meticulous attention to detail.
The appointee will provide comprehensive administrative support to self-funded Master of Arts (MA) programmes. Responsibilities will include student admissions, handling and processing student applications, arranging interviews, admissions talks and events, planning and executing academic activities, managing courses, promoting programmes, supervising staff, managing program-related human resources and finances, and providing secretarial support for committees and meetings.
