We're looking for Fabric & Innovation & Development Director (Knitted Athleisure & Performance Fabric ) for one of our business partner!
Requirements;
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in jersey fabric manufacturing or development.
- Sound knowledge of concepts and procedures specific to fabric design & development and a basic understanding of the procedures across cross functional teams within design, production, tech design, quality assurance, sustainability, and sourcing.
- Strong experience with fabric constructions, dye techniques, finishes, and garment construction and manufacturing/sourcing processes.
- Advanced communication skills with proven ability to influence and make decisions.
- Ability to anticipate problems, offers solutions, and address issues with materials in order to meet the Design team's aesthetic goals and financial targets.
- Ability to cope with change
- Ability to work independently or with limited guidance
- Excellent prioritization and organizational skills

- Lead all cross functional discussions related to Fabric
- Lead key projects with R&D to support business goals
- Develop more innovative and value - Added fabric qualities
- Specialise in performance wear and natural circular knitted fabrics; in wrap and weft knitted fabrics
- Maintain mill competency chart.
- Ensure fabric calendar deadlines are met
- Build and maintain a close relationship with key partners such as Design, Trend, Product Development, Fabric Team, Quality and Suppliers.
- Participates in seasonal concept meetings to understand fabric trend direction, fabric needs across brands.
- Leads seasonal palette creation meeting & guides the seasonal key material selection process and recommends raw material synergies where applicable across brands/styles to improve costing, reduce our risk of liabilities and provide us with the flexibility to react to the business, thus increasing profitability.
