We are seeking an experienced and motivated Quality Assurance Manager to join our Business Partner's team.
The successful candidate will oversee all quality assurance operations, ensuring that our products meet the
highest standards. This role requires extensive technical expertise in jersey fabrics, both synthetic and natural fibers, and a proven track record in managing quality control systems and teams. The Quality Assurance Manager will work closely with the technical department and the lab department to prevent future quality issues and ensure that required test standards are met, while producing quality right the first time.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality assurance within the textile industry.
- Wide technical knowledge of jersey fabrics, both synthetic and natural fibers.
- Proven experience in establishing and managing quality control systems and teams.
- Strong understanding of customer quality expectations and ability to manage them effectively.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using quality assurance tools and software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive quality control systems and procedures.
- Manage and supervise quality assurance teams to ensure consistent product quality.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain high standards.
- Collaborate with the technical department to address and prevent quality issues and ensure quality production from the start.
- Work closely with the lab department to ensure all required test standards are met.
- Manage and address customer quality expectations and requests.
- Be very knowledgeable about customer requests and technical manuals.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation of quality assurance activities.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in quality assurance practices.
- Train and mentor quality assurance staff.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
