What This Job Involves

As a Facilities Manager, you will play a key role within the Facilities Management team. Reporting to the Head of Facilities, you are responsible for overseeing the maintenance, safety, and efficiency of our facilities. Ensuring that our work environment is optimal, safe, and aligned with the highest standards required by JLL and our clients is paramount.

l Develop and implement facilities management strategies and policies

l Oversee maintenance, repairs, and renovations of buildings and equipment

l Manage facility budgets and control expenses

l Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and environmental standards

l Coordinate with various departments to meet their facility-related needs

l Supervise and manage facilities staff and external contractors

l Implement and maintain effective security systems and procedures

l Optimize space utilization and manage office relocations when necessary

l Negotiate and manage vendor contracts for facility services

l Conduct regular facility inspections and implement preventive maintenance programs

l Manage energy consumption and implement sustainability initiatives

  • Respond to and resolve facility-related emergencies and issues

l Maintain accurate records of facility operations, maintenance, and costs

l Prepare and present regular reports on facility performance and projects

l Coordinate and oversee office fit-outs and renovation projects

l Ensure all facility systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.) are functioning optimally

Interested An ideal candidate would need to have the following qualifications

l Bachelor's degree

l Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Facilities Management

l Professional certification such as FMP (Facility Management Professional) or CFM (Certified Facility Manager) is preferred

  • Strong knowledge of building systems, construction processes, and facility operations

l Excellent project management and budget control skills

l Proficiency in facility management software and MS Office suite

l Strong leadership and team management abilities

l Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

l Good command of English and Chinese
