The Role: Facilities Technician
At Entegris, we're looking for an experienced facilities technician to help us maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our employees, customers, and clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in building maintenance and repair, as well as a working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. He or she will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs, as well as responding to emergency situations in a timely and efficient manner. In addition, the facilities technician will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all work performed.
In this role you will:
- Repairing equipment sort of air conditioning units, electrical components, plumbing systems, and firefighting system.
- To be one of ERT, will be trained in specify skills and equipment. Performing preventive maintenance checks on equipment to ensure that it is operating efficiently.
- The waste management includes the general waste, hazardous waste that has to follow the relevant regulations to classification, labeling, and storage.
- Providing technical support for facilities operations such as security, cleaning, maintenance, and grounds keeping.
- Collaborate with team to manage and coordinate to check the chemical drums quantity on-site.
Traits we believe make a strong candidate:
- College equivalent or above
- 2+ years experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
- Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry systems
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, customer service, and time-management skills
