Job Description
We are excited to offer an internship opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented
Finance Intern to join our Account Payable team! This internship will provide hands-on experience in finance and accounting, giving you the chance to work closely with experienced professionals and develop essential skills in financial operations. During the 6-month internship, you will:
- Learn to manage accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, reconciliation, and financial record-keeping.
- Gain practical experience in financial transaction verification, classification, and recording.
- Develop your skills in handling expense accounts, cost centers, and compliance requirements.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and supporting month-end closing activities.
- Build a strong foundation in finance operations, cash flow optimization, and vendor relationship management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand finance's role in the broader business and gain insight into effective financial management.

Job Responsibilities:
- Process outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data
- Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements
- Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
- Generate reports detailing accounts payables status
- Understand expense accounts and cost centers
- Understands compliance issues around accounts payable processes (W-9, sales tax, etc.)
- Various administrative tasks, including mailings, typing correspondence, report preparation, scanning, etc.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Master's degree program, best if it's Finance, Accounting or Banking, Economics, Commerce or Equivalent.
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin
- Proficiency in MS Office
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Able to work 2.53 days a week in our Taipei office
