What you'll be doing:
We are seeking a skilled, creative, and highly motivated Foundry Development Engineer to lead the rapid ramp-up of high-volume products using advanced, industry-leading CMOS logic technologies. The goal is to quickly achieve full entitlement for product performance, power efficiency, yield, and reliability/quality.
Lead foundry engineering activities to drive product performance, power efficiency, yield, and reliability/quality to full entitlement
Conduct in-depth analysis of product performance, power efficiency, yield, and reliability/quality data, correlating it with fab tools, processes, and WAT to identify limiting factors
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product performance, power efficiency, yield, and reliability/quality requirements and limiting factors
Facilitate effective communication and manage engineering resources between NVIDIA and foundry suppliers
Ensure high production quality control through inline monitoring, SPC review, DPPM reduction, and investigation of customer returns
Standardizing and automating data, procedures, and methodologies across foundries and internal teams to improve operational efficiency.
Identifying innovative ways to improve current job functions and exploring new methods and technologies that can foster team growth and innovation.
What we need to see:
BS in EE, Physics, Materials Science, or related degree, with an MS or PhD preferred.
5+ years of proven experience in semiconductor wafer manufacturing (5+ years with an M.S. or Ph.D.)
Deep data analytical, problem-solving, communication, and managerial skills.
Excellent understanding of semiconductor products, test methods, statistics, and data analysis.
Solid grasp of deep-sub micron device physics and advanced processes.
Able to organize and coordinate multi-discipline projects in timely
Direct working experience with silicon foundries.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
MS/PhD in EE, Physics, or Material Science, or related degree.
Proficiency in data analysis with large datasets, including scripting language skills such as JSL, Python.
Expertise in JMP, Tableau, Yield Explorer, Yield Insights, Exensio, or related.
