Our client, a leading player in the FMCG sector, is seeking an experienced FP&A Manager to join their team in Taipei. What You'll Do

As an FP&A Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial direction of the company. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the timely completion of regular monthly management reports and ad-hoc analyses. You will review P&L statements, providing reliable data that will inform decision-making processes and drive business growth. Your ability to communicate key performance indicators and financial metrics effectively will be crucial as you present these findings to the local management team and stakeholders. Additionally, you will support annual budgeting processes, assist in internal/external audits, and identify opportunities for process improvements.

  • Complete regular monthly management/ad-hoc reporting process accurately and on time
  • Review P&L and provide reliable data for decision-making
  • Communicate key performance indicators and financial metrics to local management team and stakeholders
  • Prepare presentation materials for senior leadership team review
  • Discuss business cases with BU and provide P&L simulation of proposed activities
  • Monitor current month P&L and prepare monthly DF
  • Support annual budgeting including data collection and COGS projection
  • Drive analytically thinking that extends beyond the P&L into strategy
  • Support month-end closing
  • Assist in internal/external audit process

What You Bring

The ideal candidate for the FP&A Manager position brings a wealth of experience in financial planning and analysis functions. With at least 5 years experience in roles such as management reporting or commercial controlling, you have honed your skills in producing accurate reports that drive decision-making processes. Your proficiency in spreadsheet software like Microsoft Excel is matched by your familiarity with data visualisation tools like Power BI. A minimum of 2 years experience managing people has equipped you with the leadership skills necessary to succeed in this role. Your excellent command of both Chinese and English will be crucial in communicating effectively with stakeholders.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, preferably in Accounting and Finance
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in FP&A function as a management reporting, commercial controlling, or similar role
  • Minimum 2 years of people management experience
  • Proficiency in using spreadsheet software especially Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Power BI to analysis and present data
  • Good command of Chinese and English
