Job Description

Job Description Summary

The employee is reporting to SSGM Operations Manager Taiwan and responsible for the accurately processing of regulatory reporting for FX and derivative trades in a timely manner.

Job Description

  • Responsible for preparing and compiling the FX exchange memo, FX declaration form and relevant supporting documents, and also verify the correctness of the above mentioned documents.
  • Responsible for monitoring the status of collecting documents from clients and also taking necessary action to follow up.
  • Responsible for chasing non-receipt of FX declaration form and relevant supporting documents with clients.
  • To ensure all documents are being processed in a timely manner and prior to regulatory reporting deadlines.
  • To monitor MT300 Confirmation Matching system for FX trades and follow up with Front Office and client where necessary.
  • To prepare and generate the relevant checklists, reports for internal, clients and regulators
  • To respond promptly to client (internal/external) concerns, needs and requests
  • To provide coverage to FX/MM Confirmations and TWD Settlements and the Operations department during times of increased workload, staff absences and public holidays
  • Assist supervisor and manager to identify ways to improve daily operations processes
  • Assist supervisors and team members in internal or external audit and perform other duties as required

Experience And Skill Requirements


To successfully perform these functions, you will need to demonstrate communication and analytical skills and be well organized. The ability to operate effectively while meeting deadlines is essential.

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent at least
  • At least 2 years of financial Taiwan FX related services, and TABF FX license is a plus
  • Taiwan Market/Product knowledge required (FX/MM/Derivatives)
  • Deadline and detail oriented
  • Effective communication and time management skills
  • Experience with managing collaborative processes and working across different departments, ensuring other parties keep to deadlines and provide results
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities effectively
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Fluent Traditional Chinese writing and Good English writing and communication skill required
  • A strong attitude for information technology including MS Office and SWIFT
  • Flexible approach to work hours
