Full-time Research Assistant II (holding the functional title of Laboratory Manager) at the Speech and Music Perception Laboratory in the Faculty of Education(Ref.: 530289) (to commence on January 1, 2025 for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in Speech & Hearing Sciences, Psychology, Linguistics, or a related discipline. They should have a good command of spoken Cantonese and English, and capability in one or more of the following areas: experimental design (especially E-Prime and PsychoPy), data collection, data analysis (especially SPSS and R), and project administration. Knowledge of music education and experience in working with children will be an advantage.
The appointee will work under the Speech and Music Perception Laboratory in the Faculty of Education. They will be responsible for experimental design, data collection and analysis, project management, laboratory administration, and other duties as assigned.
