Job Description Summary
The employee is supervising SSBT Taipei FX Regulatory reporting team, and reporting to SSGM Operations Head Taipei, and responsible for the accurately processing for FX and derivative trades in confirmation, settlement, and regulatory reporting, etc. timely.
Job Description
- Supervising the preparation of all required FX regulatory reports and relevant supporting documents, and also verify the correctness of the above mentioned documents.
- Supervising the preparation of the FX exchange memo, FX declaration form and relevant supporting documents, and also verify the correctness of the above mentioned documents.
- Supervising all documents are being processed in a timely manner and prior to regulatory reporting deadlines.
- Supervising static data maintenance in Taiwan FX Operations system
- Supervising the team to conduct self-audit program and compliance self-assessment.
- Performing UAT of FX operations system in regulatory reporting
- To improve the workflows, enhance the systems, and reduce manual works in order to increase productivities, eliminate risk, and avoid any error.
- To perform governance on the outsourcing service providers on the relevant checklists, reports for internal, clients and regulators
- To respond promptly to client (internal/external) concerns, needs and requests.
- To provide coverage to FX settlement team head in confirmations and settlements, and provide the coverage to department Head when it's required.
- Assist GM Operations Head to identify ways to improve daily operations processes
- Assist GM Operations Head and team members in internal or external audit and perform other duties as required
- Accept the assignment from supervisor, internal and external clients, and regulators.
Experience And Skill Requirements
To successfully perform these functions, you will need to demonstrate communication and analytical skills and be well organized. The ability to operate effectively while meeting deadlines is essential.
- Bachelor degree or equivalent at least
- At least 5 years of financial Taiwan FX related services, and TABF FX license is a plus
- Taiwan Market/Product knowledge required (FX/MM/Derivatives)
- Deadline and detail oriented, effective communication and time management skills
- Experience with managing collaborative processes and working across different departments, ensuring other parties keep to deadlines and provide results
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities effectively
- Fluent Traditional Chinese writing and Good English writing and communication skill required
- A strong attitude for information technology including MS Office and SWIFT
- Flexible approach to work hours.
