Summary: We are seeking a skilled and creative Graphic Designer to join our team. In this role, you will support various design projects across render, print, and web mediums. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality designs while managing multiple projects simultaneously. As part of the design team, you will collaborate with other departments and report directly to the Design Manager in our Taipei office.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Multitask Across Design Projects: Work on a variety of design projects simultaneously, including rendering, packaging, photo retouching, layouts, and other graphic design elements, ensuring high-quality outcomes throughout all phases of the design process.
- Print Process Knowledge: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the print process, including color separation, pre-press preparation, and troubleshooting to ensure accurate final products.
- Adapt to Changing Priorities: Thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, managing shifting priorities effectively. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and to spec.
- Project Scope and Collaboration: Accurately interpret project briefs and requirements, evaluating multiple inputs to refine design concepts and work within agreed-upon timelines and budgets.
- Brand Consistency: Adhere to established brand guidelines for style and communication. Contribute to creating or modifying brand guidelines as needed, ensuring consistency across all design assets.
- Production Art and Final Files: Prepare final layouts and production-ready files for both print and digital deliverables. Liaise with vendors or internal teams to clarify instructions and ensure the final output meets all requirements and expectations.
Position Requirements:
- Effective Communication: Strong communication skills are critical to collaborating with team members, stakeholders, and vendors to meet deadlines and expectations.
- Expert with Adobe Creative Cloud: Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- 3D CAD & Rendering Skills: Must have experience with 3D rendering software such as KeyShot, along with proficiency in CAD software like Rhino, Alias, Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Creo (Pro-E), or similar. Having Cinema 4D and Blender experience is a plus.
- Design Fundamentals Expertise: A strong grasp of design principlescolor theory, lighting, composition, and typographyapplied consistently across all projects.
- Self-motivated and Organized: Ability to manage multiple projects at once, stay organized, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Team Player: A collaborative and positive attitude, with strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to supporting team goals.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail, excellent time management, and organizational skills to ensure that design work is accurate and meets deadlines.
Education/Experience/Skills:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in product design, graphic design, or related design field
- Industry Expertise: Proven experience in product design, package design, print processes, and working within industrial design, and print production environments.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Visual Communication Design, Creative/Innovation Design, or related field.
- Portfolio: A portfolio that demonstrates strong design capabilities across both print and digital marketing materials, showcasing creativity, technical proficiency, and attention to detail.
- Language Skills: Ability to speak and read English fluently; additional language skills are a plus.
