Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Agent Relationship Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in managing relationships with our agents, ensuring compliance with legal and company policies, and driving market expansion efforts. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a strong customer service attitude, along with experience in the freight forwarding industry.
Key Responsibilities
Agent Relationship Management
- Maintain and update agent data on the Intranet.
- Handle all administrative affairs and requests related to agents.
Contract Negotiation
- Review and negotiate business contracts and letters, coordinating between agents and the Legal team.
Performance Monitoring
- Prepare and present regular performance reports and analyses to the management team.
- Monitor and follow up on accounts receivable collections from top agents weekly.
- Collaborate with station accounting teams to address overdue AR and implement improvement plans.
Issue Resolution
- Serve as the primary contact for resolving issues between the MEC and agents.
- Provide troubleshooting support and work on enhancing service quality.
Compliance and Documentation
- Ensure agents adhere to legal, regulatory requirements, and internal company policies.
Market Expansion
- Manage the new agent appointment process, including documentation preparation.
- Coordinate between agents and MEC stations to meet service requirements for new business opportunities and onboarding.
- Identify and recommend potential new agents to enhance the MEC's network and service offerings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and with at least 3 years of experience in the freight forwarding industry.
- Proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Strong communication skills with a customer service mindset.
- Proactive, patient, and independent with strong problem-solving abilities.
