It is estimated that by 2030, there will be 700 million connected cars globally and 90 million self-driving cars! This presents new challenges and security risks.

Under the waves of electric vehicles trend, all electric vehicle component suppliers who want to sell products will have to obtain cybersecurity-related certifications. VicOne (a subsidiary of Trend Micro) aims to assist those who want to enter the electric vehicle industry to establish cybersecurity certification standards. Location

Taipei, Taiwan, with global responsibilities. Travel may be required based on business needs.

Position Overview

We're seeking an experienced HR professional to build and lead all people operations in our growing startup. This role combines hands-on HR execution with strategic planning, establishing fundamental HR processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Talent Acquisition & Development

Manage the entire talent lifecycle, from attracting and recruiting top talent to onboarding new hires. Develop and implement comprehensive training programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities. Establish robust performance management and compensation frameworks, while providing guidance to managers on effective leadership and team development strategies.

  • HR Operations & Administration

Collaborate with vendors to manage payroll, benefits, and insurance processes efficiently. Implement and maintain HR systems and tools to streamline operations. Develop, update, and enforce essential HR policies and procedures, ensuring full compliance with labor laws and regulations across all aspects of human resources management.

  • Organizational Development & Culture

Foster a positive and engaging workplace culture that aligns with company values. Manage employee relations, implement engagement initiatives, and address concerns to maintain a harmonious work environment. Contribute to office management efforts and enhance overall workplace experience to support employee satisfaction and productivity.

  • Strategic Partnership

Collaborate closely with various client groups to understand their unique business needs and develop tailored HR initiatives that drive success. Manage global HR affairs, including coordinating with international offices, navigating cross-cultural challenges, and ensuring compliance with international labor laws and regulations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field

  • 6+ years of HR experience, with 3+ years in HRBP or similar role

  • Good experience in recruitment and HR operations

  • Implementing HR programs in fast-paced environments

  • English is intermediate level

  • Flexible and proactive, with a strong ability to take initiative

Preferred Qualifications

  • Startup experience

  • International HR experience
