Job Description

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

  • Build and maintain effective working relations with management and employees
  • HRBP to support EFS APAC
  • Lead engagement initiatives to promote a professional and enjoyed workplace.
  • Facilitate delivery of employee communications, including announcing organization changes, new hires, key initiative updates, and nVent and Segment news.
  • Lead the delivery of Human Resources processes such as onboarding, employment, pay reviews, performance management and offboarding.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for HR initiatives that improve employee experiences, grow high performing teams and reinforce our values and culture.
  • Responsible for ensuring the timeliness and quality assurance of HRIS data
  • Support HR alignment by collaborating with HR teams across the business to drive consistent execution of HR services.
  • Work with local leadership on employee relations issues, establish documentation, schedule recurring meetings and setup periodic updates with the HR Management team
  • Keep current on all employment and benefits legislation and reporting requirements, and align company policies, practices and procedures to ensure compliance
  • Reports directly to HRM with regular meeting with HRVP of nVent EFS
  • May be required to perform additional duties as assigned.

You have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related discipline required Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven, progressing HRBP experience within APAC
  • Fluent English and Mandarin
  • Timekeeping and payroll knowledge is a plus.
  • Global mindset and approach - demonstrated ability to manage the complexities of global workforce develop and implement regional processes and procedures.
  • Operational Excellence - Demonstrated abilities as a broad HR generalist with knowledge to manage the function on a stand-alone basis or with limited supervision and direction, including knowledge and understanding of employment laws, practices and legal requirements to act as a subject matter expert and effective negotiator.
  • HR Leadership - Proven ability to effectively manage challenging employee relations topics in multiple countries.
  • Change Management - Demonstrated ability to lead change initiatives across an organization.
  • Development - Proven skill in coaching and counseling managers and employees.
  • Multisite HR responsibility - should have experience working in a multisite environment.
  • Influence - Demonstrate the ability to energize the organization, influence decisions and guide management.
  • Result oriented - Strong business acumen and analytical mindset. Proven ability to follow through while handling multiple and competing priorities.
  • Resilient - Ability to adapt to rapidly changing business circumstances, thrive in a constantly changing business environment and handle multiple tasks
