1.Support site HSE manager to develop local HSE practise to comply with local legislation and AkzoNobel
requirement as well as site objective.
2.Environmental aspect routine management and improvement
1.Develop and execute an improvement plan or contribute to the development of policy, procedures and guidelines across functions, in line with business needs, AkzoNobel (HSE) strategies and policies, relevant legislation and standards, in order to minimize HSE risks, maximize quality and achieve top quartile safety and operational eco-efficient performance.
2.Optimization: Identifies shortcomings in current processes and procedures from the own discipline and suggests improvements.
Collaborate with HSE managers to ensure that the factory's safe production environment complies with national laws and regulations and company policy requirements
3.Influencing skills: Is able to explain and convince internal parties about chosen solutions based on content-driven arguments has contact with internal and/or external parties about issues in own (functional) / relevant discipline(s).
4.Networking: Participates in nat ional networks and contributes to advocacy activities in favor of (part of) AkzoNobel and to ensure an optimal representation of (part of) the organization.
In the responsible area, according to the principle of who is in charge, who is responsible, the responsibilities are implemented layer by layer to ensure that they are implemented in place
5. Expertise (HSE): Professional with sufficient knowledge in own specialized field built on an understanding of the theoretical concepts and principles and their context.
Safety first, prevention first. Able to timely discover risks that affect safe production, intervene in advance and properly resolve them.
1. Associate degree or above, majored in safety engineering or related. Certified National Safety engineer is preferred.
Full-time college degree or above, bachelor's and master's degree preferred, chemistry-related major preferred, with intermediate registered safety engineer certificate-chemical direction
2. At least 3-5 years HSE&S experience in production plant chemical plant or similar.
3-5 years of HSE related experience, proactive, teamwork spirit, pressure-bearing ability
