We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Interim school counselor, social worker, or school psychologist to provide essential support to our middle-level students for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with adolescents and will play a crucial role in helping students navigate their academic and personal challenges. We have been unable to secure a probationary school counselor to fill an unexpected resignation, which has created an October vacancy.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to students.
- Assist students with academic planning and goal-setting.
- Support students in crises and provide appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote student well-being.
- Conduct assessments and develop action plans for students in need of additional support.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions.

Job Qualifications
NYS Certification in School Counseling, Social Work, or School Psychology
