Job Description

Aeolus Robotics, an international service robotics company is seeking a skilled and motivated International Sales Manager who will combine a technical knowledge with a strategic sales expertise to adeptly navigate complex global markets. Person hired on this role will be accountable for shaping and implementing the global sales strategy, establishing a market presence in key international regions, and driving revenue growth through the sale of robotic solutions tailored to the service industry. Additionally, the position involves managing relationships with international clients, distributors, and partners, and requires extensive travel flexibility to develop and maintain a strong global network.

This role is based in Taipei (Taiwan). Candidates must be located in Taiwan already.

  • Sales Strategy and Execution
  • Develop and implement a global sales strategy tailored to the service robotics market.
  • Identify, target, and penetrate new markets by establishing connections with distributors, resellers, and direct clients.
  • Oversee the end-to-end sales cycle, from lead generation to negotiation and contract closure.
  • Collaborate with product and marketing teams to ensure alignment of sales goals with product capabilities.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes in international markets.
  • Assess customer needs and pain points to identify new service robot applications and markets.
  • Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline with accurate forecasting and reporting.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and stakeholders.
  • Provide exceptional post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, conveying customer feedback to improve products and services.
  • Ensure that all sales and distribution activities comply with local regulations, import/export laws, and industry standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of international compliance requirements for service robots, particularly in areas like healthcare, hospitality, or retail.
  • Conduct training sessions for international distributors and partners on the features and benefits of service robots.
  • Educate clients on robotic technology, including its applications, safety, and integration into existing processes.

Requirements

This role is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional passionate about robotics, innovation, and global expansion. The ideal candidate should have a blend of technical acumen, sales drive, and cultural adaptability to expand the footprint of service robots across international markets.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, robotics, or a related field; a master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in international sales, preferably in technology or robotics.
  • Demonstrated success in managing sales in international markets with an understanding of cultural and business nuances.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong understanding of robotic applications within the service sector, such as hospitality, healthcare, or retail.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex sales data, set goals, and meet targets.
  • Fluency in multiple languages is a strong advantage; proficiency both in English and Mandarin is essential.

Technical Knowledge

  • Basic technical understanding of robotics technology and applications in various service sectors.
  • Ability to explain technical products in a simplified manner for diverse audiences.

Travel Requirements

  • Willingness to travel internationally, up to 50% of the time, to engage with clients and partners across regions.

Self-Motivated and Adaptive

  • High degree of self-motivation, adaptability, and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple international accounts simultaneously.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of international regulations surrounding service robots and autonomous technology.
  • Experience with CRM tools and data analysis software.
  • Demonstrated experience scaling a sales organization or launching new products in international markets.
