What You Will Do:
- Deal Scouting and Sourcing: Identify and evaluate investment opportunities across all our focus areas.
- Due Diligence Leadership: Lead the due diligence process for prospective investments.
- Portfolio Management: Actively manage and nurture relationships with portfolio companies.
- Synergy Promotion: Drive and execute synergies within our conglomerate to maximize value.
- Sector Deep Dives: Lead in-depth exploration of sectors to uncover relevant investment opportunities.
- Presentation and Reporting: Lead the team in creating presentations and reports for senior executives.
Your Skills, Abilities, and Experience:
- Fluency in English and Mandarin.
- 4+ years of experience in Venture Capital/CVC Technology Investments or business development targeting the US market.
- 4+ years in the tech operation frontline as a tech lead/sales/PM or entrepreneur in the tech business, tackling US/worldwide markets.
- Master's degree from a top university.
- Excellent financial and business analysis and valuation techniques.
- Significant startup/tech venture network, including meaningful connections within US tech ecosystems.
- Proven emerging technologies valuation skills and domain expertise in two or more sectors.
- Track record of investing, including significant venture deals sourced from a personal, professional network of venture and startup connections.
- Proficiency with computer platforms and applications.
- Proven integrity, ethics, and professionalism.
