Responsibilities:
- Design and develop AE / AWB architecture algorithm and histogram for automotive camera systems.
- Develop camera HDR sensor control strategy for optimal image quality.
- Collaborate with the system engineer and the hardware team to implement 2A algorithms on FPGA/ASIC.
- Generate 2A algorithm test patterns for HW validation.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to perform module and system-level testing, continuously iterating and optimizing algorithm modules based on test results.
- Technical documentation, including algorithm design, unit/module test cases, parameter tuning instruction, and related documents.
- Support image quality tuning activities.
Skills Qualification and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in development of AE and AWB algorithm.
- Minimum Bachelor of Science, Computer, Electrical & Electronics, Optics & Photonics, Image Processing Engineering degree or equivalent.
- Expert knowledge of CMOS/HDR sensors and sensor control methods.
- Detailed understanding of 2A & ISP algorithm.
- Excellent C/C++ and MATLAB coding skills.
Additional Requirements:
- Prior experience in product development is preferred.
- Familiarity with hardware components (Lens, CMOS sensor, FPGA, RTL, ASIC, SOC) is a plus.
- Proficiency in deep learning and practical experience is advantageous.
