Why You'll Love Working Here:

Youwill be responsible for retention and expansion within a key ORBCOMM customer located in Taipei, Taiwan. The Key Account Manager is the primary representative of the company after a sale has been completed and the account has been onboarded.

You will orchestrate efforts with internal teams to remove barriers for renewal and unlock additional revenue by brokering the customer relationship through the execution of the product roadmap.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide regular customer/account updates to the General Manager of the Business Unit
  • Maintain and advance key relationships to become a trusted advisor thereby ensuring customer satisfaction and driving incremental revenue.
  • You will own the pilots and testing phase with any new customer
  • Educate customers on the value of ORBCOMM's products and solutions.
  • Mobilize and orchestrate internal resources to assist in trouble shooting and resolution of complex customer problems.
  • You will be the voice between the customer and ORBCOMM and keep ORBCOMM on track and accountable for all customer requests
  • Develop a deep understanding of our customer needs and operational rhythm, and more to ensure ORBCOMM's products and services meet their ongoing requirements.
  • Identify, monitor, and provide timely and accurate forecasts in a predictable, consistent, and disciplined manner, for future sales and revenue levels.
  • Provide timely and accurate monthly sales reports.
  • Critical problem solving and ability to deliver information in a professional manner.
  • Track and report the progress of the company-client relationship and the level of Customer Satisfaction.
  • Monitor and analyze customer data to identify trends and insights.
  • Utilize project management skillsets to drive results across multiple complex projects.

Who You Are:

You're a strategic thinker with a knack for operational excellence, ready to tackle multiple priorities with agility and grace. If you have:

  • Experience in all the areas detailed above, gained from several years professional experience consulting with customers. Technical background with data communications and concepts and technology (H/W, S/W) and as they would relate to ORBCOMM.
  • Enthusiastic about success and is recognized by their drive and ambitious nature.
  • The BDM will be the dedicated Project Manager for all deployments on the account.
  • Superior organizational skills and outstanding communication skills, including the willingness to voice opinions in a constructive/confident manner.
  • English language is required; ability to communicate in other languages is beneficial.
  • Outstanding attention to detail is required as this is a high impact position within our organization and our industry.
  • Possibility of 10% travel requirement in addition to flexible working hours.
