About BoostDraft
BoostDraft is a software engineering company that develops IDE for documents. It was founded by MIT and Stanford grad students, developing an assisted document editor for documents. It is a new document editor that employs error checking, reference checking and auto-completion using both rule-based approach and NLP, like what coding editors/IDE (e.g. VSCode, Pycharm) do.

We are currently focusing on Lawyers who draft relatively standardized but long documents, such as contracts. With only one year after our product launch, we already have more than 7,500 active paid users. We have several long-term, large-scale contracts with famed enterprises and law firms. As a result, we have been highly profitable from Day 1 and experienced exponential growth without outside funding at all.

- Being accountable for technical decisions that your team makes, by either making the decision by yourself or reviewing and approving the decisions made by your team members
- Driving your team and project to maximize the outcome of the team in a timely manner under a very dynamic and agile environment.
- Growing your team members by giving them incrementally more challenging assignments and ongoing coaching
- Create a psychologically safe environment across the company beyond your local team

Requirements
minimum qualifications
- Experience to manage engineering teams of 5 or more people
- Fluent in coding with either C#, C++, Java or Rust
- Believe in importance of writing clean, efficient code
- Business level English
- Proactive to propose ideas for improvements even if it is out of your immediate responsibility
- Passion to create a psychologically safe environment
- Communication skill to clearly convey your idea to others
- Understanding and appreciation for diversity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Have experience with Github
- Understand the concept of CI/CD
- Master's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
- Ability to understand both of customer's and engineer's point of view.
