Responsibilities
1. Develop and maintain scalable quality frameworks, processes and best practices for localization 2. Serve as the primary accountable for language quality-related requirements, ensuring that issues, progress and solutions are clearly communicated to stakeholders within the organization 3. Work with Localization Managers and other cross-functional teams to identify and resolve language challenges 4. Work closely with product, design, development, marketing and operations teams, as well as vendors and external linguists to ensure efficient collaboration and support 5. Lead language quality improvement initiatives by identifying issues in the localization process and driving solutions at the language and team level 6. Provide support and guidance to translation and review vendors, and develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base including linguistic assets such as style guides and glossaries for all languages and products. 1. Work closely with teams from Product, Design, Engineering, and the Environment 5. 1.Bachelor's degree in Translation, Localization, Literary Studies, or a related field. 2.Proficiency in Arabic with a deep understanding of relevant cultural and linguistic nuances, and excellent oral and written communication skills in English. 3.3+ years of localization experience, particularly in Quality Management or Arabic Language Management. 4.Strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and priorities. 5.Experience using quality measurement frameworks/models (e.g., MQM). 6.Relevant experience in Quality Assurance, including terminology management and style guide creation. Bonus points: 1. Proficiency in other languages (besides English and Arabic) 2. Experience in using multiple TMS, CMS and other translation and content management tools. 1.Bachelor's degree in Translation, Localization, Literature Studies, or a related field 2.Full proficiency in Arabic, with a strong understanding of cultural and linguistic nuances (native speaker preferred) and excellent oral and written communication skills in English 3.3+ years of extensive experience in localization, with a focus on quality management or Arabic language management 4.Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and priorities, 5.Experience working with quality measurement frameworks/models (e.g., MQM) 6.Proven experience running quality assurance programs, including terminology management and style guide creation.
