Our Purpose
As a member of the Worldwide Logistics team within Teradyne's Customer-Team Support Organization you will be responsible for order management, warehousing and distribution to support customer orders.
- Order Management covers product inquiry, simple technical inquiry, sales quotation, order placement, validation, confirmation, sourcing, order processing, shipment, delivery, follow-up on billing and AR in coordination with Field Engineers, PSG & Planners.
- Warehousing and Distribution covers regional & domestic distribution, warehouse management, inventory storage, import/ export operation and support needed for internal/ external audit
Opportunity Overview
- Assist in the management of the Taiwan Parts Service and Logistics Operations
- Liaise with 3rd party logistics (3PL) vendors for warehousing, local distribution, international freight movement of parts to customers
- Responsible for tracking shipments/orders ensuring they met defined KPIs, if not to reflect accurate root causes
- Act as key interface for both internal and external customer providing day-to-day logistics support
- Answering to both internal and external customer's inquiries and complaints
- Managing deliveries in the most optimum manner
- Ensure all transactions are accurately followed in the system in a timely manner, fulfilling system and process integrity
- Manage regional freight vendors including, rate negotiation and shipment issues resolution
- Liaise with customers on customers logistics requirements, issues and escalation
- Handle local compliance matters to ensure compliance to U.S. and Taiwan regulatory policies
- Undertake and lead logistics projects for Asia Warehousing
- Coordinate the repair & return process with customers, parts centers, repair centers and transportation vendors
- Support Planning group for local sourcing, including purchase inventory, create Merlin work order and receipt of goods
- Liaise with 3rd party logistics (3PL) vendors for warehousing, local distribution, international freight movement of parts to customers

About
All About You
- Degree in Business, Logistics or related field
- 5 years of order or logistics management experience
- Oracle system, Reflection for UNIX experience is a distinct plus
- Good customer service skills with high level of business integrity
- Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure in order to achieve deadline.
- Knowledge of international trade, logistics process, customs clearance.
- Knowledge of word processing software and Excel preferred and understanding of relevant computer software applications.
- Convey information clearly and effectively both written and verbal in English.
- Strong problem solving skills on unexpected occurrences.
- Must demonstrate strong aptitude for customer service.
