Job Description
Purpose of this Position/Responsibility:
l Forecast future procurement needs; monitor stock levels and maintain safety stock. Expedite delivery of goods when appropriate.
l Data collection and analysis of market trends, supplier spend, quality, and delivery metrics.
l Determining the required materials and generating purchase orders.
l Ensuring materials meet specifications, quality standards, and are cost-efficient.
l Ensuring the consistent and adequate supply of materials necessary for production.
l Coordinating with other departments regarding production goals, timelines, supplier payments, etc.
l Tracking production volume and monitoring customer demand patterns and purchasing trends.
l Scheduling and overseeing the supply and delivery of materials and products.
l Liaising with customers, suppliers, and distributors.
l Managing inventory issues, schedule changes, and cancellations.
Minimum Job Requirements:
l Bachelor Degree in business, logistics, inventory management, or a related field preferred.
l 10+ years of Buyer or sourcing management experience .
l 10+ years of experience in material planning, inventory management, purchasing, or a related position.
l Strong organizational and time management skills.
l Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management.
l Good communication skills, both verbal and written in English(TOEIC score 750 at least )
l Proficiency in Microsoft Office and material management systems.
l Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
